There are Guide Associations all over the world and it is often possible to continue your guiding overseas.

The Girlguiding UK site gives full information about Guides around the world and all of the following:

Branch Associations

Branch Associations are Guide Associations in UK Overseas Territories. They include Anguilla, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Falkland Islands, Gibraltar, Monserrat, St Helena, and Turks and Caicos islands.

British Guides in Foreign Countries (BGIFC)

BGIFC units are formed in parts of the world where it is inappropriate for the girls to join the national organisation for reasons of language, culture, inaccessibility and so on.

International pen-friends

Having a pen-friend in another country is fun and exciting. Finding someone to write to is easy through guiding. Read on to discover how.

International transfers

If you are moving abroad for a significant period of time, you should complete a transfer form.

Our partnership with Russia

The Russian Girl Scout Association (RADS) is now officially partnered with the UK through WAGGGS Europe.

World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS)

You should contact WAGGGS if you wish to join the Girl Guides in another country, for example the Spanish Girl Guides.
