Uniform Suppliers

There are two depots within the County which are able to supply uniforms and other items available from Girlguiding UK.

1.  Colchester North District Scout Shop

Everything you need for Girlguiding – uniforms for Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Senior Section and Adult leaders\helpers, books, paperwork and gift ideas.  If it’s in the catalogue we can get it, if we don’t already have it in stock!

We are situated at Stanway Scout Hut, Villa Road, Stanway, Colchester every Saturday morning from 9.00 am to 12.00 noon.

We also accept all major credit cards and cheques (Unit and personal)

If Units have a large number of girls needing uniform we can open on an evening to suit you. We also offer Units the chance to fundraise by running a coffee shop during opening hours. The venue is free the rest is up to you. Find out more when you call in.

Please support this Depot as there isn’t a shop in Colchester for Parents to get uniform at a good price whilst helping local units and supporting Girlguiding U.K.

2.  Mid-Essex Guide Depot

Scout Hut, Meadgate Avenue, Chelmsford

Hours of opening

• Fridays 5.30 pm to 7.00 pm
• Saturdays 10.00 am to 12.00 noon

We are open during school term time except the last weekend prior to the commencement of the holiday. Closed Easter Weekend, Easter, Summer and Christmas school holidays.

For all your Guide, Brownie and Rainbow uniform, books and accessories. Most sizes of uniform kept in stock
