Support
- Support Senior Section Committee and County PR team.
- Attend Senior Section and PR committee meetings as and when available.
- Ensure radio shows are planned and cover suitable topics.
- Report back to County Senior Section and PR Advisers to enable them in turn to report back to County Exec.
- Recruit and support radio team.
- Arrange invitations to guests on show.
- Attend radio show when required either to present or cover green room/under 18 support.
- Promote Senior Section opportunities to Essex North East Senior Section members.
- Organise the publicity of the show internally and externally.
- Arrange merchandise (badges, neckers, poloshirts, flyers etc)
Training
- Radio presenter training at Saint FM.
- If possible, attend young spokesperson or other media training session.
Equipment
- Ensure that the digital recording equipment is kept in good condition and arrange repairs as and when necessary.
- Ensure that the whereabouts of the recording equipment is known at all times.
- Esure that any equipment owned by Girlguiding Essex North East connected to the production of the radio programme is logged out and tracked to ensure that said equipment does not get lost or damaged.
Budget
- At the appropriate time prepare an annual budget and submit copies initially to the County Senior Section Adviser and County PR Adviser for comment and then forward this to the County Treasurer for consideration by the Finance Team.
