Project Streamline

Project Streamline is a new initiative that aims to help every level of Girlguiding UK improve the way it manages the information about its members and so reduce the time spent on administration, simplifying, streamlining and reducing bureaucracy by providing access to shared information and straightforward processes throughout the organisation.

Streamline Trainers will train the Key Users to provide support to members at local level to enable us to achieve this goal.

A Streamline Trainer is:
Appointed by the County Commissioner
Streamline Trainers report directly to Chris Tanner, ENE County Streamline Co-ordinator
 
This role is open to Male and Female applicants
 
Functions include:
delivery of initial and on-going training on the new ways of working and the membership database that will underpin it.
need to be comfortable with using IT, and with providing training, either group-based or on a one to one basis.
travel will be required around Essex North East so independent travel or arrangements need to be in place to enable the Streamline Trainer to do so.
 
As a Streamline Trainer you will not be required to have a Girlguiding UK Trainer’s Licence or be working towards the Adult Training Qualification, however you may do so if you wish.

A Streamline Key User is:
Appointed by the County Commissioner.
Streamline Key Users report directly to Chris Tanner, ENE County Streamline Co-ordinator
 
This role is open to Male and Female applicants
 
Functions include:
provision of support to members in their local areas in the administrative processes either through email/phone or personal contact.
a need to be interested in IT and have good people skills.
 
It is envisaged that this role will involve the minimum of travelling around the County – the transfer of information to be in written form or by telephone.
